Degenerations of elliptic K3 surfaces

Abstract: I will describe degenerations of elliptic K3 surfaces, both via Weierstrass models and Kulikov models that lead to a geometrically meaningful toroidal compactification of their moduli. Based on joint work with Engel and Brunyate.
